I spent 7 years of my running adventures focusing on weight loss. I glossed over my accomplishments, ran up to 50 mile races, completed triathlons, and felt disappointed when I still didn’t fit into a size 8. I had kids and then realized that running was so much more of a gift to me than weight loss. I have never loved running or myself more than now that I have chosen to take weight loss out off of my running goal list. It’s so freaking freeing!
